The 16th annual Rivers of Chocolate Festival, held at the breath-taking Mountain Winery in the Saratoga hills, was an event where friends, both old and new, enjoyed Silicon Valley’s best of the best in all culinary categories while, at the same time, helping in the goal to eradicate homelessness in Santa Clara County.
This year, as in years past, the ROC event raised funds that benefit EHC LifeBuilders’ mission to continue to provide job training, housing and assistance to homeless families, men, women, and children living in Santa Clara County. The ROC event and fundraiser has proven to be an extra sweet means to a positive end in all aspects of charity. Not only do patrons of the event have the opportunity to sample many of the delicacies that Bay Area vintners, chocolatiers, and local restaurants have to offer, but they do so by also benefitting a worthy cause; with 100% of the proceeds going to EHC LifeBuilders.
