Santana Row held its annual Fall Fashion show on September 6, 2014. To kick off the show, some amateur models and residents of the Row—two female engineers, a graduate student, and three adorable young sisters—opened the show, strutting their stuff on the glossy, white runway while displaying this year’s fall fashions. It was fun and refreshing to see real residents of the Row included in this yearly fashion staple.
Before and during the show, guests were treated to tasty drinks and h’orderves brought to them to their seats by stylish waiters and waitresses. The intoxicating Strawberry Lychee Martini–concocted by Sino–was a crowd favorite, and the pork & shrimp sui ma dumplings and honey citrus beef skewers—also by Sino—were a perfect pairing with wine provided by Vintage Wine Bar.
Guests were also treated like celebrities, as they poshly posed for photos with their friends.
The latest fall fashion were then presented on stage, as the models sashayed the catwalk like nobody’s business.
Veteran designers of the Row included attire by Anne Fontaine, Tommy Bahama, Donald J. Pliner, Ted Baker, and Franco Uomo, among others. Scotch & Soda, Free People, C Wonder, and a plethora of all the other retail brands on the Row also took the stage. KASH Shoes made its debut, as these stylish and affordable high-end shoes were paired with various threads that are sure to turn heads this fall.
What’s unique about KASH is that, not only is the store owner Angelina and her staff welcoming and warm, but it’s the only store on the Row that offers its guests espresso. For those of you who have yet to visit the store, make sure to try the cherry mocha espresso—-Angelina’s coffee creation—while you try on the shoe(s) that peak your fashion interest.
After the show, the party continued, as guests were welcomed to visit various participating retail shops offering special discounts, wine, music, and appetizers. There were also live mannequins (models) wearing clothing from the store in which they stood in front. This was tempting for the patrons passing by to want to go in and try on the garb for themselves.
Make sure to get the hottest fall fashion trends the next time you visit the Row, and be sure to be seen at next year’s summer fashion show. Happy shopping!
