Helium Magazine is a news resource dedicated to evangelizing the digital manifestation of fashion. The impossible love child of BuzzFeed, TechCrunch and Vogue, Helium’s unique perspective combines geek-smarts with high-fashion photography to deliver breaking news and perspectives on everything FashionTech.
Founded in the heart of Silicon Valley in 2009 by 40 creative professionals, Helium pioneered a new media vertical integrating online content with printed publications at events. After the inaugural Atomic Fashion Show, we launched the Elemental Issue at Charity Fashion Show (the largest fashion show on the West Coast) and went on to distribute it to nearly 10,000 patrons at luxury fashion events like San Francisco Chic Fashion Week and Goodwill’s Generations of Change.
In 2011, Helium partnered with leading fashion designers in the San Francisco Bay Area Fashion Network to produce The Collection and The Collection Issue.
In January of 2012, Helium Magazine changed its focus to FashionTech and became the B2B publication that it is today.
